一般社団法人 大学英語教育学会（JACET）関東支部では、下記の通り第18回支部大会を開催いたします。本大会の開催にあたり、皆様からの研究発表、実践報告・アクションリサーチ、賛助会員発表、シンポジウム、ワークショップ、およびSIG発表の申し込みを広く募集いたします。
本年度の大会テーマは、「変革期における英語教育の再構築：批判的理論と実践のダイアローグ」です。今回、ロバート・J・ロウ（Robert J. Lowe）先生（お茶の水女子大学）をお迎えし、「対話で拓く英語教育の研究と実践：批判的探究がもたらす教師の成長」と題したワークショップを予定しております。
The Japan Association of College English Teachers (JACET) Kanto Chapter is pleased to announce that its 18th Annual Convention will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at a university in Tokyo.
We are now inviting proposals for research papers, symposia, workshops, and SIG presentations.
Conference Theme: Reconstructing ELT in a Time of Change: Dialogues between Critical Theory and Practice
In an era of rapid educational shifts, this convention aims to provide a platform for reconsidering the foundations of English Language Teaching (ELT).
We are honored to welcome Dr. Robert J. Lowe (Ochanomizu University) as our invited speaker. He will conduct a featured workshop titled: “Expanding Horizons in ELT Research and Practice through Dialogue: Teacher Growth through Critical Inquiry”
Robert J. Lowe is an associate professor in the Department of Languages and Culture, Ochanomizu University. His research focuses on critical issues in English language teaching. Since completing his PhD at Canterbury Christ Church University under Professor Adrian Holliday, he has published numerous studies on the subject of native-speakerism, including the book Uncovering Ideology in English Language Teaching (Springer, 2020).
